Abstract: |
Cleaning the sections of previously dug ditches led to the discovery of a Mesolithic or Early Neolithic flint chipping floor. Further archaeological work was deemed necessary. However, due to the labour and time consuming nature of this type of work preservation in situ was recommended, with only the areas to be destroyed by the development to be monitored, archaeological features being recorded where exposed.[AIP] |
