Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of test pits and beam trenches at a development site. A peat deposit and recent made ground were observed, and two sherds of medieval pottery were recovered. Post-medieval finds included fragments of tile, brick and clay pipe and a sherd of 16th-17th century pottery. A sample of peat was removed for analysis. [Au(adp)] |
