Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken consisting of one L-shaped trench. The site lay close to the line of a major Roman road, the Fosse Way, and within the historic core of the Anglo-Saxon, medieval and later town. Despite the archaeological potential of the site, no features were encountered. [Au(adp)] |
