Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundations for the development of the site. The development was believed to lie over part of a Roman fort known from cropmark evidence. A feature, possibly that of a small pit was revealed which may have related to activity of the 1st to 4th centuries AD within the enclosure. [AIP] |
