Abstract: |
<summary>A geophysical survey was carried out on an area proposed for housing development which contained the known site of a moated platform. No geophysical evidence was found for archaeological structures on the platform. However, geomagnetic anomalies did suggest that a stone building could have stood elsewhere on the site, and "rippled" anomalies possibly reflected a buried field system. The side ditches to a causeway were also located. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
