Abstract: |
Three intercutting features were revealed, two of which were sampled and proved to be pits of 13th-14th century date. In a seperate trench, a ditch of 19th century date, a medieval pit and a further undated pit were recorded. A backfilled cellar of at least 17th-18th century date was also noted. The medieval features were thought to be the consequence of activity to the rear of the medieval building. [Au(abr)] |
