Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the removal of topsoil and the excavation of foundations for five houses and associated garages. A possible filled-in pond was encountered in the southwest corner of the foundation trenches for Plot 1 and a late 12th-early 13th century pot base was recovered from the topsoil. A few sherds of post-medieval and early modern pottery were present in the foundation trenches for Plot 4. No further archaeological remains were encountered. [Au(abr)]
