Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out close to the site of Kenilworth Abbey. No archaeological features were observed. From the spoil heap one fragment of glazed floor tile, a piece of whitewashed sandstone and fragment of vessel glass, probably 19th century, were recovered. The spoil heap also contained a quantity of sandstone rubble and fragments of land drain. [Au(adp)] |
