Abstract:		 The field evaluation identified a settlement site dating to the Late Iron Age or early Romano-British period. The finds recovered indicated that the settlement was probably in use between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD, however the excavations were of limited depth so the possibility of a predating settlement was not ruled out.
