Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an indoor athletic centre and spectator stand. Previous excavations immediately to the north-east had recorded an extensive Early to Middle Iron Age and Roman settlement. During the evaluation, two prehistoric flints were recovered. Several features, including a possible post hole, were revealed; the majority were interpreted as natural anomalies. [AIP] |
