Abstract:
An archaeological desk-based assessment carried out for a proposed golf course revealed no known archaeological features to be present within the area of proposed development. The latter lay in a mature landscape of established field boundaries, pasture and woodland. Small-scale earthworks of wood banks, ditches and possible trackways lay in identified areas of woodland which were to be preserved. [Au]
