Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed substantial areas of 'cut and fill' and modern disturbance. Linear ditches and an extended area of an Iron Age settlement were uncovered and associated with field systems identified as representing major prehistoric land divisions of the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age. In addition, smaller features such as post holes and pits were identified during this evaluation, many containing quantities of finds such as pottery, flint and animal bone. [Au(adp)] |
