Abstract: |
<summary>An archaeological assessment was undertaken in response to plans for mineral extraction and a new access road. The assessment identified three main types of features (archaeological and landscape) within the study area: features of prehistoric or Roman date; boundary features and rig; and industrial features relating to lime-burning and quarrying. Of greatest significance was an Iron Age/Roman homestead. An assessment of mitigation measures for the sites affected is made in the report. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
