Abstract:
The report was commissioned in advance of the creation of a leisure stadium. Evidence of post-medieval pasture and cultivation of the site was apparent in the desk-based survey. Also noted was the creation of 19th century buildings on the site, whose cellars were thought to have destroyed any previous archaeology. [AIP]
