Abstract: |
The results of the evaluation identified evidence for settlement from the early Anglo-Saxon period in Trench 2, which included a possible sunken floored buildings, a post hole and a rubbish pit. Evidence for settlement in the late medieval/ post-medieval period was recorded in Trench 3. Here a late medieval pit of an unknown function and a possible large quarry pit of a late medieval/post-medieval date were identified. [Au(abr)] |
