Abstract: |
The site was located near the northern edge of the Middle Saxon town of Hamwic. A Middle Saxon pit, and a ditch of uncertain date, but possibly Middle Saxon, cut the natural brickearth at the south end of the site. No evidence of Middle Saxon occupation at the north end of the site was found.[Au(abr)] |
