Abstract:
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed devlopment site which was thought to lie along the line of the later medieval Blackwall River Defence. Two undated wooden piles and a wooden tie beam were recorded, but no occupation deposits were observed. Late post-medieval made ground was present. [AIP]
