Abstract: |
No positive findings were related to the oil supply. The water supply pipe was routed along the churchyard path. Archaeological monitoring revealed a series of three walls interpreted as the remains of a substantial building of Medieval date. The observations also located the rubble cores of the walls, in the matrix of which sherds of late 13th or 14th century pottery. It was not possible to determine the plan of any structures on the basis of the small area of walling exposed, and no other associated deposits were present. [Au(abr)] |
