Abstract:		 The evaluation included a desk-based assessment, followed by the excavation of three trial trenches, 6.5m x 1.6m, 6.7m x 1.6m and 8m x 1.6-2.6m. All features recorded were believed to be of recent date, though two pits containing well preserved organic material were recorded. The assessment identified that the settlement at Badwinholme dated back to the 13th century.[Au(adp)]
