Abstract: |
The building recording suggested that the barn at Church Farm was probably late 18th or early 19th century in date. The granary and cartshed were mid to late 19th century. The loss of the building forming most of the original eastern end of the rectangular yard made the overall context of the remaining buildings difficult to interpret. The watching brief located the remains of further buildings, particularly in trench 2 where brick and stone and a post hole construction were all evident. [Au(adp)] |
