Abstract: |
A further stage of evaluation was undertaken on the line of the proposed road. Seven archaeological sites were previously identified in the earlier evaluation and trial trenching, metal detecting and further fieldwalking was carried out on them. The results of this work included further evidence of Iron Age and Roman occupation, waterlogged deposits and Roman and Early Anglo-Saxon finds. [AIP] |
