Abstract: |
Monitoring of earthmoving operations for an outbuilding revealed that the area had either been fully disturbed in the post medieval period or had been levelled up in the last two or three hundred years to provide a better drained area. No evidence of medieval or earlier activity was found on the site in spite of it being close to the church and within the Anglo-Saxon and medieval core of Hadleigh. [Au(abr)] |
