Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on a site of a proposed commercial development. The preliminary archaeological assessment of the site concluded that it had moderate to uncertain archaeological potential. Three features of archaeological interest were revealed within four of the 15 trial trenches excavated and included two ditches and a probable post hole. The ditches were of probable post-medieval date and the post hole was of unknown date. It was recommended that no further archaeological work was required. [Au(adp)] |
