Abstract: |
The evaluation was undertaken prior to the determination of planning permission for the extension of the church burial ground. Four trial trenches were excavated, and archaeological features were recorded from three of these. Several ditches and possible ring gullies were discovered, and pottery was recovered dating from the Roman, possible Saxon, medieval and post-medieval periods. [Au(abr)] |
