Abstract: |
A desk-top assessment of a site proposed for residential development identified that much of it had been heavily disturbed and archaeologically relevant levels truncated. Part of the site was an infilled pond of no archaeological potential, another had been used for the construction of subterranean military structures. Ridge and furrow and a canal were noted, and it was recommended that a watching brief be held over the c.2ha of undisturbed land on the site during development. [AIP] |
