Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring of a small residential development was undertaken. The area of the development had been suggested as a possible location of St Leonard's Hospital, a medieval leper hospital. Unfortunately, no significant archaeological deposits were revealed suggesting the hospital was located elsewhere. Natural subsoil was encountered at an approximate depth of 1.3m below the present ground surface. [Au(abr)] |
