Abstract: |
Four hand excavated test pits, each 1.5m2, were excavated. A deposit within test pit one, context 102, contained medieval/post-medieval pottery and may have represented an occupation layer or fill of an undefined large feature, such as a pit or a ditch. A sherd of Roman pottery was also recovered from this test pit. [Au(adp)] |
