Abstract:
The site was in an area know to have some archaeological potential, specifically dating to the medieval and post-medieval periods. However, the geotechincal investigations undertaken upon the site revealed that between 0.7m and 2.2m of made ground existed upon the site and was contaminated with heavy metals. It seemed likely that any archaeological remains would have been removed through previous development of the site. [Au(abr)]
