Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken at Manor Farmhouse during various improvements to the property. The property lay on the edge of an area of high archaeological potential. The brief consisted of three trenches. Trench 1 revealed a possible wall footing. Trenchs 2 and 3 , possible occupation horizons. However, the absence of any finds earlier than the medieval period did not preclude the existence of any earlier deposits on the site as trench depths were comparatively shallow.[Au(abr)] |
