Abstract: |
A suggested herepath or Anglo-Saxon road was investigated due to a submission by a party conerning an inquiry into a Public Path Diversion Order. The line of the herepath was shown to be an interpretation based upon the words of a local antiquary or historian by the corresponding party. The evidence and opinions outlined by W.H.P Gresswell (1848-1922) in his many publications on the area seemed to favour a route to the south and east of Cannington Hill.[Au(abr)] |
