Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken prior to the proposed commercial and residential redevelopment of the site. The only archaeological remains or artefacts recovered consisted of a segment through a small shallow ditch. The ditch appeared to be located in the 25m wide strip of land that represented the only part of the site that appeared to have escaped major terracing activities or severe modern disturbance.
