Abstract: |
Four trial trenches were excavated as an evaluation in advance of the construction of four blocks of apartments. The edge of a gravel terrace capped with sand was located in one trench adjacent to a peat and alluvium filled channel. Three sherds of Roman and possible Roman pottery came from the alluvium overlying this terrace. [Au(adp)] |
