Abstract: |
No archaeological features or artefacts associated with the early medieval town of Sevenoaks were found during this investigation. Two adult skeletons, and the partial remains of a child were recovered from the graves within Soakaway 1, and a number of disarticulated human bones were also collected from Trench A. All of these are believed to be post-medieval and are probably 19th century in date. These remains were returned to the Diocese for reburial within the churchyard at a later time. [Au(abr)] |
