Abstract: |
Two trial trenches were undertaken as an archaeological evaluation of the site prior to its proposed residential development. Both revealed modern truncation down to a sterile strata of brickearth and no archaeological remains had survived. Notwithstanding the truncation, it was considered unlikely that any such remains had ever been present. [Au(adp)] |
