Abstract: |
The only apparent feature observed during the watching brief over works for a new dwelling was an undatable pit/ditch. Two pieces of struck flint and a single sherd of Anglo-Saxon pottery were recovered, but were unstratified. It did not appear that groundworks for the construction of the dwelling had destroyed or damaged any features or deposits of archaeological significance apart from the one undated feature.
