Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken to assess the extent of surviving archaeology within the area of a proposed housing development. The site was in the vicinity of two recorded medieval clamp kilns (Suffolk SMR HNY 001). A series of linear trenches were machine excavated. No significant archaeological features were located although a quantity of late and post-medieval pottery including at least one waster was collected from the base of topsoil. [Au] |
