Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the hand excavation of a series of drains and a soakaway to the north-west of the eastern parts of the church. The eastern-most of these revealed disturbed materials likely to relate to construction activities carried out in the 1840s and 1957. Burial soils were encountered, however, internments were at a lower level than were reached during the course of the works. [Au(abr)] |
