An archaeological evaluation was undertaken across the site of the former railway yard at Jute Lane prior to the proposed construction of eight warehouse units. Four trenches were excavated down to the natural gravels/surface horizon. Evidence of fluvial features were encountered in two trenches but no archaeological activity was uncovered. [Au]
