Abstract: |
Archaeological deposits were encountered in trenches close to the street frontage and showed deeply stratified contexts representing cut features, floor deposits, dumps and a revetment for a water course. One trench to the rear was sterile and another revealed a probable laneside ditch backfilled in the early post-medieval and Victorian times. [Au(adp)] |
