Abstract: |
The site comprised a triangle of grassland c. 50m east of St. Mary's Church, originally a Norman building but entirely rebuilt during the 14th century. No Listed buildings, Scheduled Monuments or know archaeological sites were present within the site itself. A line of stones visible along the Church Hill lane that formed the southern site boundary was believed by villagers to have been a medieval causeway. [Au(abr)] |
