Abstract: |
Monitoring work was conducted on the line of the new sewage rising main as an earlier fieldwalking evaluation had located ten archaeological sites along the route. No new features were found but further medieval pottery sherds and post-medieval pottery/building debris were recovered. The possible remains of a hearth were also noted, indicated by the presence of an area of burnt clay and charcoal. [AIP] |
