Abstract: |
An evaluation of archaeological remains first discovered at Shefford in 1826 and thought to be a Roman villa and cemetery led to the identification of field boundaries and pits of a Roman settlement site in the grounds of Robert Bloomfield school. The site was occupied from the Late Iron Age to the Late Roman period. [Au(abr)] |
