Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development, which covered a relatively large area with an uncertain archaeological potential. No features of archaeological interest were revealed, but late medieval and 17th/18th century pottery and occasional tile fragments of probable post-medieval date were recovered. It was concluded that these finds had probably resulted from manuring. [AIP] |
