Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken to assess the extent of surviving archaeology within the area of a proposed housing development adjacent to the medieval green at Mellis. A series of trenches were machin excavated to the depth of the natural subsoil. A ditch and a small number of pits were located, probably of medieval date, as suggested by artefacts recovered from them. [Au(adp)] |
