Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a N-S aligned ditch, the fill of which produced several sherds of medieval pottery, including two diagnostic sherds which dated to the AD14th century. A copper alloy object recovered from the fill was thought have been a fragment of a sieve or colander. Finds recovered from the subsoil layer overlying the ditch included pottery from the 13th - 14th AD centuries, along with a fragment of pog or handle made of worked bone. [Au(abr)] |
