Abstract: |
The assessment determined the need for further archaeological study, taking the form of geophysical work and/or trial trenching and a watching-brief in four areas of the site. These being the area of the Roman discoveries, the south-east corner of the site (to assess the possibility of medieval occupation) and the dry-valley bottoms (to determine the amount of hillwash), with the remainder of the site to be covered by a watching-brief.[AIP] |
