Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out to the east and north of the proposed development site. Garden soils and a previously unrecorded bomb crater were found to the east, while in the timber yard to the north several medieval deposits and a small amount of structural evidence of the 12th to 15th centuries were unearthed. Early to mid 14th century kiln waste was also recovered. Numerous post-medieval layers and building remains were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
