The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken in advance of a proposed residential development. There were no previously recorded archaeological sites within the site itself, but there were numerous sites in the general area. Cartographic evidence revealed that the site had been occupied by paddocks, an orchard and small structures in post-medieval times. The construction of The Chestnuts itself was the only development of the site. This modern building may have removed archaeological deposits but further mitigation was recommended should development go ahead. [AIP]
