Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of a new service trench at Coombe Conduit. A single archaeological structure constructed of brick, possibly a drain, was encountered. A brick sampled taken from this structure was dated to the late 15th or early 16th century. The trench mainly consisted of 20th century demolition materials such as concrete, which overlay natural London Clay. [Au] |
