Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed a number of wall footings, drainage cuts and an area of cobbles. This was evidence that there was occupation in the Southgate part of Huddersfield from perhaps as early as the 12th century. It was not possible to further interpret the nature of the occupation on the basis of the available evidence. [Au] |
